Frequently asked questions from candidates

How much does your support cost me as an applicant?

You do not pay anything. Our service is completely free for IT professionals. We are paid by the Austrian companies.

Who organizes the residence permit (e.g. Red-White-Red Card)?

We take care of the entire process together with your future employer – from document verification to the application submission. All we need from you are a few documents (e.g. your university diploma, possibly a language certificate, etc.), which we will specify in detail. You only need to come to Austria to pick up your approved residence permit.

Do I have to speak German to work in Austria?

No. In the IT sector, good English language skills are often sufficient. However, knowledge of German is an advantage for everyday life and integration if you wish, we can help you learn the language.

I don't have a degree, but I have work experience. Can I still apply?

Yes! Even with a completed technical education or several years of relevant IT experience, you may qualify for a residence permit. We provide individual guidance.

How long does the entire process take from the first interview to departure?

On average, it takes 2 to 3 months, depending on your profile, employer selection process and government processing times.

Can I bring my family to Austria?

Yes. Family reunification is possible under certain conditions. We will explain how it works and support you with the process.

Which cities in Austria can I work in?

We primarily place candidates in Vienna, Graz, Linz, Salzbrug and Innsbruck, but also in other cities depending on the needs of the companies.

Do you offer help with finding accommodation?

Yes! We will provide tips, contacts, and support you with your accommodation search if needed – especially during the initial phase.

What is the Red-White-Red Card exactly?

The Red-White-Red Card is a residence permit for qualified third-country nationals. It allows you to live and work legally in Austria, initially for 24 months, with an option to extend.

How do I apply?

Simply fill out our application form, allowing us to store your information and match you with relevant job openings.

I am currently working or studying, can I still apply?

Yes, absolutely! Since the entire process of starting a job in Austria can take several weeks or even months, it makes sense to apply early — even if you are currently working or studying. This way, you can plan ahead and will not miss any opportunities.
